Nadezhda A. Skulkina has graduated from the Ural State University named after M. Gorky (physicist, 1968-1973) and postgraduate course at the Ural State University (1977). She has completed dissertation of candidate of physics and mathematics degree (PhD), 1984, and later (in 2008) dissertation of doctor degree in physics and mathematics on the topic: "Distribution of magnetization and magnetic properties of crystalline, amorphous and nanocrystalline materials". She is a Professor of the Department of fundamental and applied physics of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the Ural Federal University. She has published more than 150 scientific publications. She is co-author of 20 textbooks and 2 monographs. She is currently engaged in the investigation of physical causes of influence of various physical effects on magnetic properties of amorphous soft magnetic materials.
